The owner of the Germans Van Eck gallery, Wouter Germans, had purchased and renovated a barn on a 30-acre tract of property in Northeastern PA (center pic). Gallery artist's were invited to live there for month-long residences. Here, Cundiff (accompanying Hardesty) works on a suite of paintings in residence. It was here they became first acquinted with the beauty of rural Pennsylvania.
