The Butler Institute of American Art houses the Beecher Center (shown here), a wing added in 2000 for the purposes of exhibiting media-based art. Hardesty, Nam June Paik, Jasper Johns and others were the inaugural exhibitons in 2000. This wing was the venue for Hardesty's later 2005 exhibit. Louis Zona, the museum director, has been a big supporter of Hardesty's installation art.
